
***By acknowledging terms and conditions or completing payment, the client acknowledges to have read both the Studio User Agreement as well as the Payment Agreement and is bound to their contents.***
FACILITY RULES & POLICIES
While in a session, please refrain from entering any other studio rooms unless you are invited into the session. The session booker or the person responsible for payment has the right to dictate the parties within their booked studio space (subject to capacity regulations).
AEG Studios is not responsible for personal items and lost property left by artists and guests. Please make sure to gather all belongings before leaving all studio spaces. In the event items are left behind by guests, AEG Studios will place all items found in a temporary lost and found kept on the premises for a maximum of 10 days. After the 10 days, if items are not claimed, those items will be discarded.
In the event where damage is caused to studio equipment due to misuse and/or abuse, the client will be charged the full replacement value of damaged equipment. Refusal to pay for breakages may lead to exclusion or prosecution.
Food and drink are permitted throughout all studios, however it should not go on top or come within the vicinity of the studio equipment. Spillages and accidents with food and drink that result in damages will be charged as per the damages policy above this paragraph.
It is encouraged that all trash be thrown away and tables/equipment wiped down.
All clients and guests are required to use the front door in the lobby area to enter and exit the facility. With an exception of booking O-Lounge Studio, use of the door in the back of the live room or the alternative entrance in the hall outside of the men’s restroom for entrance and exiting is allowed.
All clients and guests must always be mindful of noise when residing in the lobby/common area no matter what sessions are going on inside each studio.
All speakers within AEG Studios should be carefully and mindfully used. Speakers should never be red lining or overloading due to loud music. In the event where an AEG Studios staff member feels that the speakers are being overloaded, they have the right to turn down the volume of those speakers to the appropriate level.
AEG Studios engineers & staff are the only people who have clearance to rewire, adjust, or move studio monitors & equipment. In the event that a client wishes to do so, they must immediately get assistance from an AEG Studios staff member.
AEG Studios engineers & staff are the only people who have clearance to access studio storage spaces & lockers. In the event that a client wishes to do so, they must immediately get assistance from an AEG Studios staff member.
AEG Studios staff & clients must always keep all doors closed so that the automatic door locks can operate properly.
Any illegal activity conducted within AEG Studio premises, building premises, and outside of the building premises has no association/involvement with AEG Studios and the building. Any actions may be subject to a studio ban or legal action.
AEG Studios staff & clients must always maintain rooms exactly how they were left before and after sessions.
ROOM RENTAL POLICIES
Clients must stay within their booked time slot for their session (unless extended).
Studio users are required to complete studio certification in order to operate the booked space.
AEG Studios is not responsible for any services performed, any equipment brought by clients, and any files created within the session.
AEG Studios engineers & staff are responsible for packing up all microphones and studio gear used at the end of a session.
It is expected for all artists to bring their own hard drives to save their files on. Refrain from saving to the computer hard drive and please DO NOT save any file(s) to the desktop. AEG Studios is not responsible for any lost files.
Clients are not permitted to download, change, delete, and/or edit any files/programs on AEG Studios computers.
All policies specific to an AEG Engineer are separate from AEG Studios policies.
Artists are expected to vacate the studio at the scheduled ending time of the session, regardless of arrival time. Artists will be billed for any additional time exceeding the arranged booking.
AEG ENGINEER POLICIES
STUDIO A TERMS
AEG Studios staff, clients & guests must never have more than 15 people in the room for a session.
AEG Studios does not permit anyone to sit or stand on the credenza, desk, chairs, or other tables.
Any damages that might be caused to the studio space or to the client due to misuse may be held to the responsibility of the client.
AEG Studios does not permit more than one person at a time, excessive swinging, or aggressive initial seating on the hanging chair.
All AEG Studios staff, clients, & guests may never turn on phantom power in the studio preamps when connection to the appropriate microphone is not made. Phantom power should never be left on after a session as well.
Studio certification or AEG Studios staff assistance/oversight is needed if a client wishes to operate the control room patchbay.
AEG Studios is not responsible for any damages or injury as a result of guidelines not being followed.
Any damages that might be caused to the studio space due to misuse may be held to the responsibility of the client.
All gear is expected to be returned to default parameters upon exit.
STUDIO B TERMS
AEG Studios staff, clients & guests must never have more than 10 people in the room for a session.
AEG Studios does not permit anyone to sit or stand on the desk or chairs.
Any damages that might be caused to the studio space or to the client due to misuse may be held to the responsibility of the client.
Be aware that the windows are heavy. If there is any window that would like to be opened in the space rented, and there is any trouble getting it opened, please seek the assistance of any AEG Studios staff.
Clients are not permitted to access to the attic
AEG Studios is not responsible for any damages or injury as a result of guidelines not being followed.
All gear is expected to be returned to default parameters upon exit.
O-LOUNGE STUDIO TERMS
AEG Studios staff, clients & guests must never have more than 12 people in the room for a session.
AEG Studios does not permit anyone to sit or stand on the desk or chairs.
Any damages that might be caused to the studio space or to the client due to misuse may be held to the responsibility of the client.
Be aware that the windows are heavy. If there is any window that would like to be opened in the space rented, and there is any trouble getting it opened, please seek the assistance of any AEG Studios staff.
All AEG Studios staff, clients, & guests must not tamper with the gaming system or systems inside the room. If assistance is needed then please get the attention of an AEG Studios staff member.
All AEG Studios staff, clients, & guests must not touch, use, or tamper with the WIFI router and associated cables inside the room.
Clients are not permitted to access the storage unit.
AEG Studios is not responsible for any damages or injury as a result of guidelines not being followed.
All gear is expected to be returned to default parameters upon exit.
G-LOUNGE STUDIO TERMS
AEG Studios staff, clients & guests must never have more than 5 people in the room for a session.
AEG Studios does not permit anyone to sit or stand on the desk or chairs.
Please be mindful of the volume when other sessions are booked on the floor. Excess volume may cause small bleeding into other rooms. In addition, AEG Studios has the right to turn down the speaker volume if needed.
AEG Studios is not responsible for any damages or injury as a result of guidelines not being followed.
All gear is expected to be returned to default parameters upon exit.
PAYMENT AGREEMENT
1. Consideration
Pursuant to this agreement client agrees to pay to Academy Entertainment Group, Inc. dba AEG Studios the total sum of the invoice for services to be performed by AEG Studios and agrees to give a full payment, depending on the session type, of the total sum upon the date of the booking. A payment of the room rental total required to block the time for the session in the calendar. The remainder of the amount shall be due before the start of the session. The remainder amount is subject to change in the scenario of a change in hours, additional services, or products purchased in the session.
Normal Room Rental - Full payment required before commencement
Normal Room Rental with an AEG Studios Engineer - Room rental payment required before commencement / engineer payment required on session date
Room Monthly Membership - Full payment required before commencement
Credit Monthly Membership - Full payment required before commencement
2. Late Payment Structure
In the event where a client fails to make payment for their session on the session date, they will be entitled to a 5-day grace period. If 5 days have passed after the date of the session and a payment has still not been made, a late fee will be added to the overdue payment (25% of the original overdue payment). Once the late fee is incurred, every 15 days an additional late fee (25% of the original overdue payment) will be added until the payment is made.
3. Unsatisfactory Product
In the event that the client is unsatisfied with the product that they receive, they are entitled to withhold the 50% remainder payment. The client is also entitled to redeem room rental time equivalent to the duration of the session in question. A refund or awarded studio rental time must be chosen separately and cannot coexist in the scenario of dissatisfaction. AEG Studios, in turn, has no obligation to provide any products to the client afterwards.
4. Cancellation/Rescheduling
Clients are entitled to a full refund of their session if cancellation occurs outside the 24 hours leading up to the session start time. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the booking, then the client is permitted to reschedule the session at no extra charge. If cancellation occurs within 1 hour of the booking, in no event shall the deposit or full payment be refundable to the client.
5. Interpretation
This contract will be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Pennsylvania.
Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely in the state of Pennsylvania, at a court of competent jurisdiction.
