BIO

With nearly a decade of experience and a degree in Recording and Music Production from Drexel, Joe Turzillo has been recording music in a professional studio environment since he was in his early teens. After falling in love with the guitar in middle school, Joe began as an intern at The Music Space in the Baltimore, MD area. After moving to Philly, Joe built what is now AEG Studios and began working with any artist he came across in the city, fleshing out a catalogue with in the hip hop and indie rock scenes with such artists as N3WYRKLA, Shakur Smalls, Sleep House and Hue Hinton. Joe has recorded in hundreds of different recording studios, recorded in unconventional spaces ranging from penthouse apartments and tour buses all th way to abandoned buildings, and he’s also done live playback and FOH on tours all over the US opening up for names like Gunna and Flo Milli. Joe will do everything in his power to match your artistic vision with the sonic texture of your music!

In addition to working with established recording artists, Joe has much to offer new producers in his role as an educator.  For anyone interested in becoming an engineer or sharpening their recording chops, Joe is happy to share his knowledge on the setup and operation of equipment as well as the modern workflows practiced in today’s studio industry.
